Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Curriculum Assistant to join the Professional Studies Department at our Slough and Langley College campus on a full-time, permanent basis working on a Term Time Only basis. This role involves working 37 hours per week (full-time), across 37 weeks per year (43.31 paid weeks). The role pays on our Support Staff pay scale at scale H which is from H19 £22,662.10 (£27,284 FTE) up to H22 £24,907.22 (£29,987 FTE).

Reporting directly to the Head of Department, the primary responsibility of the Curriculum Assistant is to deliver comprehensive administrative operational support. This includes:

  • Managing student enrolment processes
  • Tracking attendance and SMART targets via ILP systems
  • Maintaining accurate electronic databases
  • Assisting tutors with course material preparation
  • Coordinating departmental diaries, student open days, and off-site trips
  • Handling purchasing orders
  • Managing safeguarding compliance for external support personnel
  • Delivering customer service for commercial operations

To succeed in this role, applicants must hold Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths, exhibit strong IT capabilities (including Microsoft Office and databases), and possess hands-on administrative experience within data-compliant and customer-focused environments. Preferred qualifications and backgrounds include certifications in Business Administration, ICT, or First Aid, along with prior experience in financial processing or the educational sector.

Ultimately, the successful candidate must demonstrate exceptional communication and time-management skills, adapt flexible work practices, and actively uphold college values regarding safeguarding, equality, and student welfare.
