Job Overview

Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Technician – Motor Vehicle to join our team at Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a full‑time permanent basis.

This full‑time position involves working 37 hours per week on an all‑year‑round support contract and pays on Scale G of the Support Staff Scale (£8,098.00 up to £8,784.00).

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional student experience by ensuring a safe and effective practical teaching and learning environment.
• Support learning through demonstrations, instruction and supervision.
• Assist in the induction of students, help lecturing staff with practical demonstrations and instructions, and prepare equipment and materials for lessons.
• Maintain a safe learning environment; adhere to safe working practices, conduct risk assessments and ensure the maintenance and servicing of all equipment and machinery.
• Manage supplies, parts and consumables, keeping practical learning areas clean and organised.
• Participate in events such as parents’ evenings, recruitment, trade events and open days, contributing to the college’s marketing efforts.

Qualifications

Applicants will need a Level 3 qualification in a relevant subject area, with Level 2 English and maths, and experience working in a workshop‑based environment.
