Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Curriculum Assistant to join our Adult Learning for Independence and Employment (ALFIE) team, supporting learners at our Berkshire College of Agriculture campus. This is a part time, permanent position working 20.5 hours a week, term time only for 38 weeks a year (paid for 44.48 weeks per year). We offer flexible working arrangements regarding start and end times and working pattern, which can be discussed at interview to suit the right candidate. The actual salary ranges from 12,895.23 (H19) up to 14,172.74 (H22) per annum depending on experience and qualifications, based on a full time equivalent salary of 27,284.00 to 29,987.00.
As a Curriculum Assistant within our ALFIE team, you will provide vital administrative and operational support across the department. Your key duties involve:
- Tracking student attendance
- Updating Individual Learning Plans
- Managing the complete end to end enrolment process, from handling application paperwork and benefit details to updating systems such as EBS
- Overseeing safeguarding compliance for external support staff across our sites, including processing DBS checks, verifying identification and maintaining live compliance trackers
- Coordinating student trips, transport, open days and departmental events like graduation
- Delivering great customer service and producing our termly newsletter
- Handling day to day office duties by minuting meetings, managing diaries, raising purchase orders, preparing learning materials and supporting classroom setup
Crucially, you will help promote a safe, inclusive learning environment, safeguard student welfare and support the values of the Group.
