Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Curriculum Lead in Maths to join our Strode's College team starting in August 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves working 37 hours per week Monday to Friday at Strode's College. The role pays on the Academic Teacher's pay scale (T01 up to T11) and receives a Management Allowance (M1 to M3) resulting in a salary range of T01 + M1 £34,412 up to T11 + M3 £49,578 depending on qualifications and years of teaching experience.
Responsibilities:
- Managing the daily delivery of provision for Maths learners across at least three courses, including GCSE, A Level, and A Level Further Mathematics.
- Leading departmental quality assurance.
- Managing the induction and development of new staff.
- Driving the sharing of best practice in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment.
- Raising the quality of the student learning experience, improving engagement and satisfaction, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through the efficient and economical use of college resources.
- Providing pastoral support to students aged 16-18, strong administrative capabilities, and a firm commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting student welfare.
Qualifications:
- Level 5 teaching qualification (or willingness to work towards one).
- Minimum Level 3 subject qualification.
- Level 2 proficiency in English and mathematics.
- Significant teaching experience within a college environment, backed by a strong track record of designing and delivering imaginative, innovative, and high-impact learning.
- Experience providing pastoral support to students aged 16-18, strong administrative capabilities, and a firm commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting student welfare.
