Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant - Adults (Mathematics) to join our Adult Learning team at Slough & Langley College on a permanent part-time basis. This part-time position requires working 20 hours per week for a total of 37 weeks per year during term time, Monday to Thursday. The role pays between £10,819.36 and £12,025.30 on Scale G of the Support Staff pay scale.

The role involves supporting adult learners studying maths programmes, including Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics. As a Learning Support Assistant for Adults - Mathematics, you will work closely with teaching staff to help learners access the curriculum, provide learning support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within a classroom setting. You will support learners to build confidence, develop numeracy skills, and achieve their learning goals and qualifications by assisting with the delivery of structured and planned learning support.

Responsibilities:
  • Support adult learners studying maths programmes (including Functional Skills and GCSE Mathematics).
  • Provide learning support on a one-to-one basis, in small groups, or within a classroom setting.
  • Work closely with teaching staff to help learners access the curriculum.
  • Help learners build confidence, develop numeracy skills, and achieve their learning goals and qualifications.
  • Assist with the delivery of structured and planned learning support to help learners engage and progress.
