Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Teacher of A-Level Philosophy and A-Level English Literature to join our Strode’s College team on a 0.76 FTE basis. The salary for this role ranges from T1 £20,735.84 to T11 £34,459.16 (equivalent to a full-time salary of T1 £31,633 to T11 £45,341), dependent on experience and qualifications. The expected start date for these positions is Thursday 20 August 2026. There is also an opportunity to split the position into two separate 0.38 FTE roles for candidates who are interested in and qualified for only one specialism. We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our team as a Teacher of A-Level English Literature or Teacher of A-Level Philosophy. In this role, you will be responsible for curriculum management, operation, and quality assurance within your subject area, ensuring high-quality student learning through the most effective, efficient, and economic use of the College's resources. You will oversee the design, development, and implementation of an effective curriculum strategy for your provision. By staying abreast of recent syllabus changes and assessment requirements, you will guarantee that curriculum and quality systems are used to continuously improve learning and performance. Working collaboratively, you will help coordinate your subject team, supporting colleagues with quality improvement, programme planning, and student management.

The ideal candidate will possess significant experience in delivering a high standard of teaching, maintaining learner retention, and supporting students to high achievement.
