Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking to employ a permanent Placements Coordinator to join our Sixth Form Careers & Employability team. Working 37 hours a week, this role is based across our Strode's and Windsor College campuses on a term time only basis, working 41 weeks per year. The role pays from £25,116.16 (H19) to £27,604.40 (H22) depending on experience and qualifications. The full-time equivalent for this role would be £27,284.00 (H19) up to £29,987.00 (H22). Please note that we are looking for the successful candidate to start in time for the beginning of the Autumn term.

We are looking for a proactive, highly organised individual who is driven to support young people and make a real impact behind the scenes of successful industry placement programmes. As a Placement Coordinator, you’ll be at the heart of delivery, supporting students and employers while ensuring that industry placements are appropriate, safe and fully compliant. This post is required to lead on finding, processing and monitoring industry placements for T Levels, which is a key growth area for our Colleges.

Working closely with curriculum teams and the Careers and Placements Manager, you’ll keep learners on track, managing the essential paperwork and monitoring tools that underpin their professional development. This includes conducting site risk assessments, tracking student allocations and producing evaluative reports to ensure every placement meets high standards.

Acting as a key point of contact, you will confidently handle queries from students, external organisations, and parents or carers while actively building a network of employer partners. This role requires a sharp eye for detail and proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google applications and CRM databases to maintain accurate records across multiple systems and support the promotion of work placements at college events.

If you have experience in a customer focused environment, possess strong administrative skills, and thrive in a collaborative team, this is a fantastic opportunity. If you have a working knowledge of T Level qualifications and Department for Education (DfE) requirements, this will be to your advantage in delivering a high quality support service.
