These are permanent, full time positions working 37 hours per week, all year round. The salary is on Scale G of the Support Staff pay scale, offering £25,483 (G17) up to £27,284 (G19) depending on qualifications and experience.

As a Learning Support Assistant (LSA) within our Apprenticeships provision, you will play a vital role in helping apprentices across our programmes fully access their curriculum, develop key skills and achieve their potential. Support is highly adaptable and may be delivered one-to-one or in small groups, depending on individual needs. You will support a wide range of learners to overcome general barriers to learning by assisting with assignments, exam preparation, and the development of essential English, mathematics, and ICT skills. You will bring a positive, proactive attitude and a genuine passion for helping young adults and learners succeed in education or training. Crucially, you will have experience or qualifications in supporting individuals with learning difficulties or neurodiversities, such as Autism, ADHD, Dyslexia, and Dyspraxia.

You will also need strong organisational skills, Level 2 qualifications in both English and Mathematics and a total commitment to college policies regarding Safeguarding, Equality and Data Protection.
