Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach Plumbing & Gas to join our Apprenticeship Department at the Slough & Langley College campus on a full time, permanent basis. The role pays from £41,096 up to £44,165.00 dependent on experience and qualifications.
We are looking for a proactive and organised individual to support and mentor a caseload of Plumbing and Gas apprentices across our Slough and Langley campus. In this rewarding role, you will coach learners to develop their skills, knowledge and behaviours, helping them succeed in the workplace and achieve their end point assessments.
You will work closely with both apprentices and employers, carrying out regular progress reviews and using digital tools such as e-portfolios and Microsoft Teams to track development and ensure compliance with funding and audit requirements.
Ideally, you will hold a Level 3 qualification in Plumbing and Heating, along with Gas qualifications (CCN1 and CENWAT) and an Assessor Award (CAVA/A1) or be willing to work towards one. Experience supporting apprentices in a training or education environment is highly valued, and a teaching qualification or background in curriculum delivery would be a distinct advantage.
