Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Learning Support Assistant to join our Apprenticeships team at our Berkshire College of Agriculture campus on a part-time basis. The successful candidate can expect to work 21 hours per week Tuesday to Thursday. This role pays between G16 £13,677.24 and G19 £15,201.73 (£24,098 to £26,784 FTE) which is dependent on skills and experience.
As a Learning Support Assistant within our Apprenticeships provision, you will play a key role in supporting apprentices with Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND) to successfully access their apprenticeship programmes.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with apprentices, tutors, assessors, and employers to provide tailored learning support that enables apprentices to develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence required to achieve their apprenticeship outcomes.
- Support may be delivered one-to-one, in small groups, or within learning and workplace settings, depending on individual needs.
- Assist with the implementation of structured learning support strategies, helping apprentices overcome barriers to learning, and supporting them to engage fully in both their off-the-job training and workplace learning.
