Windsor Forest Colleges Group is seeking an experienced 0.4 FTE Teacher of A-Level English Language to join the Sixth Form provision at Windsor College. This fixed-term post runs until 3 July 2026, with the potential to become full-time and permanent in the following academic year. The salary for this role ranges from T1 £12,453.20 to T11 £17,936.40 (£31,133 to £44,481 FTE), which is dependent on skills and experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in post-16 English Language and the expertise to deliver linguistics-based content, preparing students for both external examinations and non-examined assessment at A-level. The role involves teaching 10.5 core hours per week, covering areas such as:
- Child Language Acquisition
- Language in the Media
- Language Change
- Advanced language analysis
- Comparative spoken and written texts
- Topical language issues
In addition, the postholder will support students with exam preparation and coursework. Teaching takes place on Tuesday and Thursday from 08:45 to 12:15, and Friday from 12:45 to 16:15.
