The Windsor Forest Colleges group is looking for a Technical Skills Coach – Groundskeeping & Sportsturf to join our Apprenticeships team on a Full-Time, Fixed Term (Maternity Leave) basis.
The primary responsibility is to oversee a caseload of apprentices and provide comprehensive support and guidance to enhance their experience in the Greenkeeping & Sportsturf Apprenticeship Programmes. Key duties of this role include conducting visits (remotely), assessments, and progress reviews to ensure the apprentices' steady advancement towards successful completion of their apprenticeship programs.
To be effective in this role, you will need to be capable of effective communication, utilization of technology, and diligent monitoring of off-the-job training hours. Furthermore, the coach is expected to possess a thorough understanding of pertinent policies and procedures, encompassing risk management, diversity and equality, health and safety, safeguarding, and data protection.
This is a Fixed Term Position covering Maternity Leave and you would be expected to commit to the position from March 2025 until March 2026. This is a remote role, but the successful employee may, if required, have to visit one of our campuses.
