Windsor Forest Colleges Group is offering an opportunity for a Finance Officer to support our busy Finance Department. This role is exclusively available to students currently enrolled in a relevant course of study who require a placement year as a formal part of their degree. We welcome applications from all eligible students seeking to gain practical, real world experience before completing their academic programme.

This role is based at our BCA campus in Burchett’s Green (SL6 6QR). Set within a stunning 400 acre estate, the site offers a unique working environment with free on site parking for staff. Please note that the campus is in a rural location that can be difficult and time consuming to reach via public transport. We therefore recommend mapping your route before applying.

This is a full time, fixed term position (37 hours per week, Monday to Friday) until 30 June 2027. The salary is on the support staff pay scale G17, £25,483.00 per annum.

As a Finance Officer you will gain practical finance experience through an industry placement where you will work within a busy and professional finance team. You will see first hand how financial processes and budgetary management support the broader college community, allowing you to develop valuable skills and make a significant impact from day one. This is more than an administrative role. With guidance you will take a lead in covering sales ledger operations and play a key role in assisting with the testing and development of our new finance system, gaining experience that will strengthen your future career. From the outset, you will contribute to important work, gain insight into the full financial cycle, and be part of a collaborative professional team.

We are seeking someone who is organised, detail oriented with high numerical accuracy, and confident in taking the initiative while also being a supportive team player. You will communicate effectively in person, by phone, and in writing whilst handling sensitive information with professionalism.
