The Curriculum Lead in Maths at Windsor Forest Colleges Group is looking for a Curriculum Lead in Maths to join our Strode’s College team starting in August 2026 on a permanent, full-time basis. This role involves working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday at Strode’s College.

The Curriculum Lead in Maths is a combined teaching and leadership role responsible for managing the daily delivery of provision for Maths learners across at least three courses, including GCSE, A Level, and A Level Further Mathematics. Working closely with the Assistant Principal and Head of Department, the post-holder will play a key role in raising the quality of the student learning experience, improving engagement and satisfaction, and ensuring high-quality outcomes through the efficient use of college resources.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leading departmental quality assurance
  • Managing the induction and development of new staff
  • Driving the sharing of best practice in Teaching, Learning, and Assessment

To be considered, candidates must hold a Level 5 teaching qualification (or be willing to work towards one), a minimum Level 3 subject qualification, and Level 2 proficiency in English and mathematics. The role requires significant teaching experience within a college environment, backed by a strong track record of designing and delivering imaginative, innovative, and high-impact learning.

Additionally, successful applicants must demonstrate experience providing pastoral support to students aged 16–18, strong administrative capabilities, and a firm commitment to safeguarding, inclusion, and promoting student welfare. Successful applicants will be required to undergo an enhanced DBS and Barred List check along with other legally required checks which are an essential part of the safeguarding process.
