Milton Primary Academy is part of Windsor Academy Trust. We pride ourselves on our forward thinking approach to teaching and learning and would like to appoint someone who wishes to engage in high‑quality professional development to further improve the quality of teaching in their classroom.
Some of our KS2 classrooms are starting to use digital technology via iPads to support teaching and learning as we aim to prepare children for the future. Experience in using iPads as part of daily teaching would be desirable, but not essential.
As a two form entry primary school, the successful candidate will have a year group partner to work alongside, as well as further opportunities to work with colleagues across the family of schools in Windsor Academy Trust. We have a broad and comprehensive professional development offer, both in school and across the trust, which means staff at all levels continue to grow together towards providing consistency in approaches for the pupils.
As a middle leader with responsibility for Personal Development, you will be supported by the senior leadership team to understand the school's current strong offer; opportunities to work with other Personal Potential leads across Windsor Academy Trust to share ideas and work collaboratively and have full support from the school team to widen our offer for pupils further.
As part of the school's leadership team, you will be part of leadership meetings and support the vision and drive for success across the school. The pupils at Milton are a delight. They love coming to school and thrive from the wide personal potential offer that we provide. All staff actively support school events, clubs and community events to ensure Milton Primary is at the heart of the community. Our pupils are respectful, happy learners who follow the school ASPIRE values daily and celebrate each other's successes.
