This is an excellent opportunity for doctors wishing to practice high quality family medicine with an emphasis on continuity of care.
As an expanding practice we are looking to recruit a Temporary Locum 6 session GP.
- Expanding practice currently 21,250 patients, 19 GPs. (15% dispensing)
- GP owned purpose built health centre opened March 2012
- Training practice with two trainers and undergraduate teaching
- We provide 15 minute GP appointments with allocated daily admin time on Emis
- Outstanding CQC rating and 99% QOF achievement 2023
- We hold regular clinical meetings and run mentor scheme for those new to the practice.
- Supportive MDT with prescribing nurse/ECP led minor illness clinics and clinical pharmacist clinics
- Adjacent community hospital, minor injuries unit and radiology and Emergency Medical Unit
- NHS Endoscopy, and echocardiography on site
- Significant involvement in Primary Care Research.
- Part of an active PCN with GP access hub providing a home visiting service.
- First line management of documents is provided by trained practice assistants to reduce GP admin.
