Windrush Care is looking for people of all backgrounds and experience to provide genuine person-centred care and much needed support to older people in the Cheltenham and North Cotswolds area. Windrush Care is a small, independent and family-owned business based in the centre of Cheltenham. We provide our services to a predominantly private group of clients who are able to continue living in their own homes.
What we offer first and foremost to our existing and future home carers, is flexibility. Most of our other carers work around other jobs and family life, and we truly believe in a healthy work-life balance.
We offer a competitive hourly wage of £12.70 per hour (Mon-Fri) and £14.70 per hour (Weekends) + enhancements for Bank holidays as well as 40p per mile (from home to first call and onwards, then back home).
We are currently offering a 20 hour per week block hour contract for candidates who have any availability between the hours below:
- 16.00pm - 21.30pm availability
- Week 1: Mon-Fri
- Week 2: 3 days in week and Sat/Sun
Extra hours are available if required.

- Opportunity to complete QCF Level 2-5 in Adult Health and Social Care after 6 months of continued employment (dependent on role).
- Access to all training certificates after 6 months of continued employment at no cost to you.
