Windrush Care is looking for people of all backgrounds and experience to provide genuine person-centred care and much needed support to older people in the Cheltenham and North Cotswolds area. Windrush Care is a small, independent and family-owned business based in the centre of Cheltenham. We provide our services to a predominantly private group of clients who are able to continue living in their own homes.

What we offer first and foremost to our existing and future home carers, is flexibility. Most of our other carers work around other jobs and family life, and we truly believe in a healthy work-life balance. If you just wish to work earlies or lates, or a combination of the two, that is fine with us.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of £14.00 per hour (Mon-Fri) and £14.75 per hour (Weekends) + enhancements for Bank holidays as well as 40p per mile (from home to first call and onwards, then back home). We are currently requiring candidates who have the availability in the mornings between 07.00am - 10.00am, with days available: Mon-Fri + weekends. Contracted hours available, dependent on availability.

  • Specialist training and staff development are key goals for Windrush Care, access to specific training including Dementia, Palliative Care and Parkinson’s etc throughout your employment.
  • Opportunity to complete QCF Level 2-5 in Adult Health and Social Care after 6 months of continued employment (dependent on role).
