Windrush Care is looking for people of all backgrounds and experience to provide genuine person-centred care and much needed support to older people in the Cheltenham area. Windrush Care is a small, independent and family-owned business based in the centre of Cheltenham. We provide our services to a predominantly private group of clients who are able to continue living in their own homes.

What we offer first and foremost to our existing and future home carers, is flexibility. Most of our other carers work around other jobs, family life and we truly believe in a healthy work-life balance. If you just wish to work early OR late, or a combination of the two, that is fine with us.

We offer a competitive hourly wage of:

  • £13.00 per hour (Mon-Fri)
  • £14.75 per hour (Weekends)
  • Enhancements for Bank holidays
  • 40p per mile (From home to first call and onwards, then back home)

We are currently offering a 15 hour block contract for candidates who have availability between the hours below:

  • Early shift from 17.00pm - 22.00pm
  • Week 1 - 3 days in the week
  • Week 2 - 1 day in week and two days over weekend

Extra hours are available if required.

  • Opportunity to complete QCF Level 2-5 in Adult Health and Social Care after 6 months of continued employment (Dependent on role)
