Sitting within the purchasing team, this role is responsible for raising RFQ’s, placing orders and managing suppliers in the Windracers Group. The key function of this role is to ensure the right parts are available at the right time for production and maintain stock of essential spare parts. The role encompasses managing data, managing suppliers, working with internal teams to create value, supplier performance and sustainability.
Responsibilities:
- Determining best source for lead-time, price, and quality.
- Managing end to end procurement process of sourcing, negotiation, and supplier management.
- Ensuring on time delivery of purchase orders.
- Monitor and improve key procurement KPI’s – Ontime delivery, cost reduction, and relevant metrics.
- Work on cost reduction, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement projects.
- Other responsibilities as agreed with your Manager.
