We are seeking a skilled Propulsion Technician to support the operation, maintenance, and testing of propulsion systems. Working closely with the engineering and testing teams, you will help with the assembly of prototype and early production internal combustion engine propulsion solutions. Hands-on experience working with internal combustion engines is required.
Key Responsibilities- Perform maintenance, inspection, and troubleshooting of propulsion systems, including engines, powertrains, and associated components.
- Perform installation and integration of prototype propulsion subsystems on UAV platforms for ground and flight testing.
- Assist with conducting ground and flight tests, ensuring the systems are ready for performing the required tests.
- Collaborate with engineering, airframe, and flight test teams to support design updates and operational improvements.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, testing, and compliance documentation.
- Support safe working practices and contribute to Health & Safety initiatives.
- Experience developing documented maintenance procedures will be considered.
- Hands-on experience with maintenance and assembly of internal combustion engine systems, preferably in aircraft propulsion.
- Hands-on skills in engine/propulsion assembly, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow technical instructions.
- Good communication and teamwork skills for working across multidisciplinary teams.
- Right to work in the UK.
