Role Description
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer at our Swindon clinic. The role includes conducting diagnostic ultrasound examinations, including 2D well‑being scans, 4D baby scans, and gender confirmation scans. You will provide clear and compassionate communication with parents, ensure accurate documentation and medical reporting, and maintain high standards of patient care. Collaboration with Scan Buddies and adherence to healthcare protocols and safety standards will be essential for this position.
Qualifications
Experience in performing diagnostic ultrasound scans and a strong foundation in Radiology
Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or HCPC
Knowledge and expertise in gynaecology and fertility scanning medical imaging techniques
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for calm and empathetic patient interaction
A commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to professional standards
Relevant clinical experience in prenatal diagnostics or obstetric ultrasound is required
A degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography with a masters in ultrasound is essential
Ability to work on‑site in milton keynes, within a collaborative team environment
