We are looking for a passionate and experienced Senior Housekeeping Supervisor to work with our housekeeping team. You must have proven experience in working with high standards, working with a large, diverse team and also have great attention to detail. This is a fast paced role; with the main area of responsibility including supervising, leading and motivating the teams with a focus on dedication of the highest level of cleanliness. The Housekeeping Supervisor will also assist in the forward planning of the department and ensuring Guest and Employee satisfaction at all times. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below, combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team. Main duties and responsibilities Support the smooth running of the housekeeping department, where all aspects of the guest experience are delivered to the highest levels. Work proactively to improve guest satisfaction and comfort, delivering a positive and timely response to guest inquiries and problem resolution. Assist with the assignment of rooms to housekeeping room operatives as instructed. Ensure bedrooms are inspected daily and are compliant with Company standards throughout, reporting all maintenance faults as soon as located to maintenance. Ensure that all hotel bedrooms, corridors and public areas are maintained to the highest standard of cleanliness at all times. Manage the housekeeping teams, fostering a culture of growth, development and performance within the departments. Support the Housekeeping Manager with departmental budgets, ensuring that costs and inventory are controlled, and that productivity and performance levels are attained. Build and maintain effective working relationships with all key departments. Support departmental targets and objectives, work schedules, policies and procedures. Ensure consistently high operating standards in every area of Housekeeping, as identified by the hotels brand standards. Perform routine inspections of all Housekeeping areas. Ensure adherence and compliance to all legislation where due diligence requirements and best practice activities are planned, delivered and documented for internal and external audit; performing follow-up as required.
