To be a Restaurant Assistant, we want to see talent and passion so that you can deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that both standards and specifications are met, creating a service delivery that will be an occasion for all guests.
Key Tasks will involve:
- Assist with greeting, seating and order taking. Help guests with menu selection and drink requirements
- Serve food and drinks, ensuring that requests and queries are responded to in a timely and friendly manner
- Anticipate and attend to the guest’s needs and desires immediately
- Communicate and work effectively within a team to ensure every guest leaves with the desire to return
- Understand your areas of responsibility, ensuring everything runs effectively in line with brand specification
- Looking professional, being punctual, polite, courteous and helpful to guests and colleagues at all times
- Be fully conversant with the facilities, services and promotions offered by the hotel
- Ensure Company policies and procedures are adhered to in line with Company standards
More importantly, you must enjoy what you do! have a great personality, be confident, and have a ‘can do attitude’.
