As a result you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You should have a warm, personable nature and a can do attitude. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.
Key responsibilities for the Meetings & Events Supervisor are;
·Be fully conversant with all Meeting & Event rooms, layouts, product availability and all other associated aspects.
·Ensure that M&E rooms not in use are in an appropriate state for show-rounds of potential customers.
·Be present to meet and greet customers checking requirements and passing on relevant information (e.g. fire evacuation procedure, directions etc.).
·Supervise events such as private dinning/weddings/anniversaries etc.
·Ensure superior levels of food and beverage service to hotel guests are maintained.
·Ensure all areas are clean and maintained at all times.
Desired attributes for the Meetings & Events Supervisor include;
·Ability to think on your feet if required.
·Excellent communication skills.
·Experience of hotel environment is an advantage.
