You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of brand standards, be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. You must have experience in a similar environment with the knowledge and confidence to deliver the role described below combined with a passion for delivering exceptional service through your team.
Key responsibilities for the Bar Supervisor are;
- Supply and ensure the highest possible level of guest care and service to the guests; internal and external.
- Complete some administrative functions (e.g.time sheets, stock and equipment counts, training)
- Maintain staffing levels within agreed budget targets – controlling wage costs, holiday schedules and work rotas
- Oversee multiple outlets ensuring that service delivery is maintained at all times
- Have a full knowledge and promote the hotel\’s facilities, services and company products
- Support the implementation of new procedures, practices and standards where applicable
- Support with the ordering, receipt, storage and security, requisition and issue of all items sold/served, together with cleaning materials and other sundry items
- Undertake Duty Management shifts as required and all associated tasks
- Monitor the standards of work, working practices, productivity and standards of customer care of all employees within the department.
- Comply with all aspects of \’Alcohol Licensing\’ regulations.
The Ideal Candidate Will:
- Have experience of working within a hotel or restaurant operation, ideally in a 4 star environment
- Be able to deliver excellent customer service at all times and train others to follow a similar example
- Be smart and professional in appearance with a \”can do\” attitude and excellent communication skills
