We are working with a growing and forward-thinking electrical company based in Cardiff, who are looking for an experienced Electrical Qualified Supervisor to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an electrician who wants to move away from day-to-day installation work and into a role focused on quality, compliance, technical support and team management.
The Role
As an Electrical Qualified Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring work is completed safely, correctly and to the required standards. Your responsibilities will include:
- Signing off completed electrical / EV charging works
- Inspection, testing and certification
- Carrying out electrical surveys
- Conducting site audits and quality checks
- Supporting electricians with technical queries
- Providing technical guidance and mentoring
- Ensuring compliance with current electrical regulations
- Reviewing workmanship and identifying areas for improvement
- Supporting the management team with day-to-day operational duties
- Helping maintain high standards across projects and the wider electrical team
What We're Looking For
You must be a fully qualified electrician with:
- NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation
- AM2
- 2391 Inspection & Testing
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Strong technical knowledge and a good understanding of electrical compliance
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
This role would particularly suit an experienced electrician who is ready to come off the tools, take on more responsibility and progress into a supervisory/management position.
