Full-time | £32,000–£38,000 DOE | Monday to Friday 8.30am to 5pm, no weekends
We’re a family-run garage on London Road in Horndean and we’ve been here over 35 years. That means most of our customers have been coming to us a long time, and some of their parents did before them. We need another technician. A good one, someone who diagnoses properly rather than firing parts at a fault until it goes away.
The job itself is servicing, repairs and diagnostics on most makes and models, cars and vans. Some days it’s a run of services, and some days it’s one awkward fault that eats the afternoon, and you’ll be doing that with main-dealer-level diagnostic kit, not a cheap code reader and a guess.
How we work is the bit that matters, honestly, more than the job list. We tell customers what needs doing now and what can wait, and we agree the price before we start. Nobody here is going to lean on you to find work that isn’t there. Nobody’s going to hand you a bill to explain to someone who wasn’t expecting it either. If you already work that way you’ll fit straight in, and if you’re coming from somewhere with upsell targets, it’ll feel odd for about a week.
