We are currently accepting resumes for experienced Heavy Equipment Operators for our local projects on Vancouver Island. We are looking for Excavator Operators, Rock Truck Drivers, Backhoe Operators, Loader Operators, and Skidsteer Operators. Applicants must have at least 2 years’ experience and operate in a safe and effective manner. Projects include subdivisions, utility, and highway building.
Position Responsibilities (including But Not Limited To):
- Ability to work in tight municipal work areas
- Safe and efficient operation of heavy equipment to meet production targets
- Perform pre-operational checks on equipment and clean, grease, and refill fluids in equipment as required
- Work in a team environment
- Excellent oral communication skills with close attention to detail
