We are seeking invigilators to join the busy team at Windermere School for exam seasons. Invigilators are the people in examination rooms responsible for conducting examinations in the presence of the candidates. Invigilators have a key role in upholding the integrity of the external examination/assessment process.
Reports To: Examinations Officer
Salary: By negotiation and agreement during the exam periods when external invigilators are required. The main exam periods are November, January and April-June.
Hourly Pay Rate 2024-2025: £13
Child protection screening is required, including checks with past employers and Disclosure and Barring Service. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening appropriate to the post, including at least 2 references for all staff and enhanced criminal record checks through the DBS for staff and volunteers with unsupervised access to children. This is in accordance with the Safeguarding Vulnerable Groups Act 2006.
