Windermere Manor Hotel is looking for an experienced, creative and motivated Head Chef to lead our kitchen and deliver an exceptional dining experience in one of the UK's most beautiful locations. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef with strong leadership skills and a passion for seasonal, locally sourced cuisine.
About the Role
As Head Chef, you will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, including:
- Leading and developing a small to medium-sized brigade
- Creating and executing seasonal à la carte menus
- Managing kitchen budgets, GP targets and food cost controls
- Ensuring full compliance with HACCP and allergen regulations
- Maintaining our 5-star food hygiene rating
Essential Experience
- 3–5 years' experience as a Head Chef or Senior Sous Chef, ideally in a hotel environment
- Demonstrated ability to manage kitchen operations and staff
- Strong understanding of food safety, hygiene standards and regulatory requirements
