Your role with us
As a Senior Implementation Consultant, you will be the authoritative technical architect overseeing complex implementations for our largest global enterprise, marketplace, and mid-market corporate clients across the UK and Europe. This is an elite, high-level technical role. You will own the integration lifecycle end-to-end architecting software and hardware deployment strategies, deep-diving into API logic, and working alongside developers and internal product engineering teams to ensure flawless delivery on complex multi-currency infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities

- Provide high-level technical consultation, design guidance, and architectural validation to external developer teams and internal enterprise Sales leadership.
- Author advanced technical blueprints, integration playbooks, and conduct deep-dive technical workshops for complex or highly unique merchant payment environments.
- Maintain an exhaustive comprehension of emerging payment methodologies, tokenization techniques, encryption standards, and Omni-channel processing designs.
- Project-manage high-value implementation streams from initial scoping and architecture validation through to production and post-go-live optimization reviews.
- Manage high-pressure, complex go-live deployment windows, using advanced technical troubleshooting and log analysis to resolve anomalies instantly.
- Partner directly with global core Engineering and Product teams to eliminate systemic implementation friction and optimize transaction performance.
- Ensure all technical deliverables, edge-case bugs, and custom integration milestones are meticulously tracked and documented in JIRA with rigorous detail.
- Design, build, and continuously refine Windcave’s developer-facing technical documentation, SDK guides, and reference architectures.
- Serve as the ultimate technical escalation point for critical integration roadblocks, ensuring rapid analysis, follow-up, and permanent resolution.

- Minimum 5+ years of progressive professional experience in a Technical Implementation, Solutions Architecture, Technical Account Management, or Integration Engineering role.
- Payments Vertical Expertise (Non-Negotiable): Extensive, proven experience directly within the Payments, Merchant Acquiring, Gateway, or FinTech domains.
- Deep, practical familiarity working with RESTful APIs, SDKs, JSON, and web architectures, including the ability to independently debug integration code and analyze server logs.
