ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Reporting to the VP, Sales Operations & Enablement, this position requires strong project management and communication skills, and consistent achievement of defined goals and objectives. The high-level, high-impact projects this individual will be responsible for will help ensure the success and efficacy of the Sales Enablement team.
Responsibilities
- The Program Manager, Enablement will develop, manage and deliver multiple project plans to meet the industry-specific needs of the global sales force.
- You will be an enablement partner for our Sales team, working directly with key stakeholders to organize training, oversee and measure effectiveness of programs, and encourage uniformity of processes.
Project Management
- Work with a dynamic team to identify the target audience's needs, content requirements, training methods, process and infrastructure to sell effectively.
- Design and implement sales training to ensure the team is well-versed with existing solution enhancements and new offerings.
- Plan and execute a set of global enablement programs and activities, including hosting live meetings and delivering new learning using the sales enablement platform.
- Identify opportunities to continuously develop our Sales skill sets to fill gaps and provide continuous feedback.
- Use leading-edge program and project management techniques to create a repeatable, organized approach.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership to identify training needs, establish training strategies, and execute programs that impact sales results and support business growth objectives.
- Coordinate and collaborate with Product and Marketing to develop sales training assets and certification programs.
- Partner cross-functionally with internal teams to innovate and improve the Enablement experience and process.
Delivery
- Facilitate and deliver learning programs for direct sellers, sales managers, and sales leadership in a manner that earns credibility and trust.
- Ensure all learning documentation is kept up to date and communicated to relevant stakeholders on a timely basis.
- Own Enablement program coordination, including scheduling and recording management.
KPIs
- Partner with Sales Leadership to establish, assess, and evaluate strategies to measure the efficacy and value of training initiatives and iterate as necessary.
- Identify and track KPIs to inform continuous improvement.
- Help manage and support tools and resources to ensure sales productivity continues improving.
ABOUT YOU
You preferably have experience in technical sales, sales enablement, Instructional Design, Virtual and Face-to-Face workshop facilitation, and coaching. Technically oriented with strong business acumen. Drives work to complete with solid project and program management skills.
Core Competencies & Demonstrated Success
- Experience creating and running enablement programs with defined KPIs and Metrics.
- Content management production experience, specifically as it pertains to the alignment of marketing or product content into a usable learning format.
- Expertise in blended learning and active learning instructional design and development.
- Utilizes relevant project management tools, systems, and applications.
- Ability to manage conflicts and build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Qualifications
- 4-6+ years of sales enablement experience or program management experience, including program design, implementation, and measurement.
- Strong organizational skills with an understanding of sales enablement, sales methodologies, and sales process.
- Familiarity with one or more leading sales methodologies (ValueSelling, Challenger, MEDDIC, Sandler, etc.).
- Ability to quickly grasp and understand Wind River’s business, sales model, consultative selling methodology, platforms, and services.
- Experience with presenting at all levels with excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Experience working with global cross-functional teams.
Education
- BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience.
