Wind2 takes an innovative approach to renewable energy projects. In collaboration with our sister company Solar2, we offer the advantage of a highly experienced, capable and adaptable team which takes a professional personal approach to the delivery of viable projects.
One size does not fit all. Utilising the latest design and development technology, we appraise every parcel of land to ascertain if it will be environmentally and commercially feasible whilst delivering the income required by the landowner.
Working with credible, financially stable joint venture partners, including Octopus Energy Generation, EDRP and Recurrent Energy ensures that any renewable energy project will deliver on its commitments.
Diversification of your land
Diversifying land for renewable energy projects has the potential to provide a long term secured income for the life cycle of the lease period which can be significantly more than the variable yield for agricultural use. In addition, once the project is live, the land can be re-used for a variety of uses; ultimately further enhancing the overall value of the land.
How we can help maximise the potential of your land
Wind2 takes an innovative approach to renewable energy projects, ensuring that they are viable for the landowner, environment, our joint venture partners and the communities they will serve.
Wind2 has the capability to think βoutside the box when developing renewable energy projects which, ensures that land is maximised to achieve the most output from renewable energy while the landowner receives a guaranteed income for the life of the project.
Land requirements: β
Whilst the below are the ideal requirements for a renewable energy development, we can easily review land to check its initial viability.
- Land parcels over 40 acres
- Uninterrupted wind flow
- The potential for access for construction and maintenance vehicles
- Not located in a National Park, National Scenic Area, Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) or Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI)
