Due to our continued growth and commitment to providing our colleagues and clients with the very best service from our IT infrastructure, we are looking to hire a new Technical Project Manager. Technology is at the core of everything we do. The Winckworth Sherwood IT Team supports around 380+ people, mainly in our London Head Office. We also provide support for our smaller offices in Oxford and Manchester.
As our Technical Project Manager, you will be responsible for the planning, execution and delivery of multiple critical firmwide and departmental IT projects. Reporting into the Programme Manager, you will be working closely with various stakeholders including the IT Director, our Systems Developers and/or the Infrastructure Team, as well as third party consultants.
You will use your:
- Project management and technical experience in delivering legal IT systems ranging from in-house developed systems and/or workflows covering automation, AI or a combination of both to deliver critical projects.
- Change and people management skills, to deliver first in class solutions to our internal as well as external clients.
ABOUT YOU
You will ideally have experience within the legal profession and a successful track record on managing IT projects, utilising your background in software development, IT infrastructure, alongside any experience of driving AI projects and adoption. Your intellectual curiosity when it comes to IT problem solving will enable you to provide our colleagues with innovative solutions to progress their IT projects. Your project planning and execution expertise, backed up by your familiarity with project management tools will enable you to manage risk, documentation and champion best practice.
