We are looking for an entry level candidate to join a very friendly and supportive IT service desk team, to provide IT support to a user group of around 400 people. The team are looking for someone who is enthusiastic, eager to learn and willing to grow through experience. A proactive attitude, strong initiative, and a desire for continuous development are more important to the team than extensive experience.
We are a Microsoft 365 environment with bespoke legal software systems, which include Net Documents and 3E. Day to day tasks will include:
- Answering calls/emails/Teams messages to the IT service desk number/centralised inbox and logging these requests on the helpdesk system
- Providing effective IT support services across the firm both onsite and remotely, across software support/set-up and hardware maintenance and AV set-up.
Please note that candidates will need to be available across the team's shift patterns which are as follows:
- Standard: 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM (with a 1-hour lunch break)
- Flexible shifts on a rota basis:
- Early: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM
- Late: 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

You will have a passion for problem solving and a curious mind, place importance on providing excellent client service and a genuine interest in developing a career in a busy but friendly IT service desk team. We are open to seeing candidates who are at the start of their IT journey, so you may have a degree in Computer Science, completed an IT bootcamp course, IT apprenticeship, or have some on the job IT or customer facing experience.
In return, you will be joining a loyal and dedicated service desk team, who support each other and work together to provide a first-class support service to all our people.
