There is an exciting opportunity at our London office to join our Finance team as a Revenue Controller. This is a full‑time (35 hr a week) role reporting into the Revenue Control Manager. Our Finance Department consists of 20 people, including the Director of Finance and 4 Finance Managers, spread across 4 teams. As a Revenue Controller you will work in the Revenue Control team and be responsible for WIP management, billing, and credit control.
Responsibilities
- Reviewing WIP balances with all fee earners, including partners
- Processing bills
- Securing swift payment of invoices
You will liaise with partners and team members at all levels and external clients, applying an assertive yet tactful approach while maintaining positive and constructive relationships.
Qualifications
This role is ideal for someone who has experience with billing and WIP, excellent numeracy skills, and the ability to reconcile accurately. You may be at the start of your career in billing/revenue control or be a revenue control professional looking to join a new friendly, supportive team. You will possess solid IT skills and good knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Excel. Experience with Elite 3E is a bonus; training will be provided for other finance systems. Good customer‑service/stakeholder‑management experience is also essential. Confidence in placing pressure tactfully on companies and people who owe money is central to the role. You will have confident written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt your style to meet the needs of different audiences, including senior stakeholders. Offer of employment
If you are successful and accept the offer, we will submit your details to our background screening company (Giant). Once background checks and proof of right to work are validated, a start date will be agreed and the onboarding schedule set.
