An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Solicitor or Associate level lawyer to join our highly regarded Commercial Property, Telecoms & Licensing department at our London office. This role will specialise in the telecoms sector, working with some of the largest telecom clients across the UK market.
In this role you will get the chance to:
- Draft, negotiate and complete leases and licences to document the installation and use of masts on new and existing sites.
- Issue proceedings at court or the Tribunal to seek rights under the Telecoms Code.
- Advise clients on the notices to be served under the Telecoms Code (whether that be to renew existing occupation or acquire new rights).
- Instruct Counsel to prepare pleadings for Court proceedings.
- Advise clients on notices to quit and notices received under the Telecoms Code (where an operator is being asked to vacate land).
- Attend client meetings/calls on a daily basis.
ABOUT YOU
This role will be ideal for either someone who has a good grounding in commercial real estate, and is looking to gain practical experience and specialise in the Telecoms area, or for someone who has experience working within the telecoms legal sector. We are open to seeing candidates who are either at the point of qualification or have some post-qualified commercial experience in a commercial property or telecoms legal team.

Informal post-offer meeting (in person at our London office): If you are offered the role, you will have the opportunity to meet other members of the telecoms team, as well as some other members of the wider commercial property, telecoms & licencing department. This is also a good opportunity to ask any final role/firm specific questions, before formally accepting the role.
Offer of employment: If you are successful and accept our offer of employment, we will submit your details to our background screening company (Giant), who will conduct a series of background checks. Once these have been completed and we have separately validated your proof of right to work in the UK, a start date can be agreed, and your onboarding schedule can be planned.
