We’re looking for an experienced Sailboat Delivery Captain / Crew to safely deliver yachts across the UK and Europe. This role is fully mobile — you’ll spend your time on the water, navigating, managing onboard safety, and keeping the vessel in top condition during each passage.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and executing passages safely and efficiently
- Managing onboard systems and performing minor maintenance during delivery
- Communicating clearly with owners and stakeholders about progress and any issues
- Ensuring safety and compliance throughout each voyage
This is a hands-on, active role — no desk, no office, just sailing, problem-solving, and making sure yachts arrive exactly as they should.
Qualifications
- Proven sailing experience, including offshore passages
- Practical mechanical and repair skills for yachts (deck hardware, onboard systems, basic troubleshooting)
- Commitment to safety and emergency preparedness
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Flexibility to handle changing schedules and weather
- Experience with sustainable or eco-friendly maritime solutions is a plus
- Relevant certifications such as Yachtmaster, STCW, First Aid are highly desirable
