Role Description
The GP Partner role is a full-time position based in Enfield. The successful candidate will provide high-quality primary care, including consulting with patients, diagnosing and managing a wide range of conditions, prescribing treatments, and coordinating care with other healthcare professionals. Responsibilities include contributing to clinical governance, participating in practice meetings, and supporting service development to ensure safe and effective patient care. The role also involves supervising or mentoring clinical staff where appropriate, supporting quality improvement initiatives, and participating in practice management decisions to sustain a well-run and patient-centered service. We are a training practice so GP trainers as welcomed.
Qualifications
- Fully qualified GP with MRCGP (or equivalent), full GMC registration, and inclusion on the GP performers list.
- Strong clinical skills in primary care, including diagnosis, management of acute and chronic conditions, and safe prescribing.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice, clinical governance, and continuous professional development.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for engaging patients, colleagues, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Ability to contribute to practice operations, including workflow optimization, service planning, and partnership responsibilities.
- Experience or interest in teaching, supervision, or mentoring of trainees and other clinical staff is beneficial.
- Familiarity with UK primary care systems, electronic medical records, and NHS policies and pathways.
- Demonstrated commitment to inclusive, non-discriminatory practice and high-quality patient experience.
- 3 years of post-CCT experience working in NHS General Practice is preferred.
