This is a fantastic opportunity to work within the Winchester district which is rich in history with a thriving, vibrant and diverse economy. You will be leading the delivery of the Income, Homeownership and Tenancy Sustainment services for the Council’s Landlord Service across 5,000 homes to enable our communities to thrive and our tenants to sustain their tenancies.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the efficient and effective collection of Housing Revenue Account (HRA) Income streams for the Landlord Service.
- Ensure compliance with legislation and regulation.
- Support the financial resilience of the HRA by managing and mitigating risks associated with arrears, bad debt, legal action and leasehold disputes.
- Focus on income recovery for all income streams – rental, homeownership, rechargeable repairs, etc., and act as the subject matter expert to maximise income for the HRA.
- Deliver a right-first-time, quality customer service, drive customer satisfaction and work in partnership across teams to promote and enable effective customer engagement.
- Report to the Service Lead (Landlord Services) and help shape future services within a regulatory inspection and LGR context.
Qualifications
Experienced Income Manager with a proven track record in managing HRA income, compliance, and risk mitigation within a landlord services setting.
