Class 1 Driver Days or Nights Northampton
Location: Northamptonshire, England
Wincanton are looking to recruit LGV Class 1 Lorry Drivers to support our growing team at our award‑winning British catalogue retailer Argos operating in Kettering.
Rota options available: Friday‑Monday, Thursday‑Sunday, Saturday‑Tuesday. Start time: 06:00.
Pay Rates
- £19.93 per hour Monday – Friday 06:00‑18:00
- £21.18 per hour Monday – Friday 18:00‑06:00
- £21.93 per hour Saturday & Sunday 06:00‑18:00
- £23.18 per hour Saturday & Sunday 18:00‑06:00
- £22.50 per hour 6th Shift for all hours

The Role
- Accurately and efficiently deliver stock within set timescales.
- Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and in line with legislation.
- Attend any relevant training as required to remain fully equipped to perform the role effectively and support continuous improvement.
- Adhere to safe working practices and the Health & Safety at Work Act.
- Report any accident or damage to equipment or machinery.
- Multi‑drop deliveries to stores.
- Use tail lifts and handle roll cages.
- Keep the truck clean.
Experience And Qualifications
- Valid in date LGV HGV (C+E) Class 1 licence.
- Valid Digital Tachograph Card.
- Full Driver CPC.
- No more than 6 points on licence.
- L‑licence held for at least 12 months.
- Commercial driving experience desirable.
- Full flexibility in relation to shifts and duties.
- Time critical delivery service aligning with KPI and fuel efficiency.
