Class 2 Wickes HIAB Home Delivery Driver

Role Profile
Wincanton are recruiting for a Class 2 HIAB Driver to join our team working on our Wickes contract based in Huntington.
Up to £33,543.72 basic depending on experience and licences plus achievable legal compliance bonus of £1,920
39 hours average per week (annualised contract of 2028 hours per year)
Standard working pattern 5 days per week (Monday to Friday)
Sixth shift overtime required during peak season (paid sixth shift)
ALLMI training will be provided for suitable candidates with no HIAB licence.

Key Responsibilities:
You will be responsible for the accurate and timely movement of multidrop and direct delivery of our customers’ products
You will be equally comfortable with working alone or as part of a team
Adhering to safe working practices to always ensure the safety of yourself and others
Complying with all relevant legislation in line with Drivers Hours and Working Time Directive requirements.
Experience and Qualifications
Must hold a valid in date Category C Class 2 licence
Must hold a Valid Digital Tachograph Card
Full Driver Qualification Card (Driver CPC)
HIAB licence – (ALLMI or equivalent preferred) an advantage, however not essential
Previous experience in a customer facing role would be an advantage
Have a positive, flexible attitude to work.
Good timekeeper, with the ability to work both alone and part of team
