Job Description
Summary and purpose of position:
To support the weekly operational activities in/outbound, leading the teams to a safe, efficient and effective working environment, being a liaison between S&S, planning and contractors.

- Monday to Friday, 7.5hour shifts, between 06:00-18:00

Responsibilities
- Effective line management of shift leads and MTOs
- Proactively contribute to achieving performance and operational targets for each shift, safety, quality, service, absence
- Ensure health and safety standards on site are always adhered to
- Create and deliver effective and engaging briefings
- Manage inventory control using scan guns, tablets, and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
- Establish priorities, communicate, and escalate them effectively
- Be a presence in the warehouse, and lead by example with a safety-first approach
- Management and upkeep of the payroll system; Oracle/Kronos
- Assigning safety roles for the day and ensuring communication boards are up to date
- Collating data for senior management and the client and communicating this when requested
- Ensuring operational activities are executed right first time and training colleagues to continuously improve
- Contributing, mentoring, and driving team development
Experience, Skills, and Attributes
- Experience with Microsoft Applications
- Previous warehouse experience is essential
- Experience with Warehouse Management Systems beneficial
- Line management experience
- Superb communicator, target driven and highly motivated
- MHE experience desirable
- Driving license desirable
