Overview
An exciting opportunity to appoint an enthusiastic, passionate, and creative Warehouse Trainer to join our Screwfix contract at our Runcorn Site (WA7 1NT). Shift Pattern: Based on business needs, 06:00-14:00/14:00-22:00/22:00-06:00.
Responsibilities
- Ensuring all colleagues are trained in line with all legal and company regulations
- Ensuring that a high HSE performance is achieved within the operation and that a positive safety culture is embedded in everything we do
- Undertake training analysis looking for improvements in the processes and methods of operating
- Be willing to train to become a Manual Handling Trainer and support onboarding of colleagues
- Designing and developing appropriate training and supporting materials and measuring their continued effectiveness
- Ensuring all working procedures maintain legal compliance and are clearly defined/cascaded, with regular reviews to ensure effectiveness
- Ensuring all necessary resources are available for training to take place
- Play an active role within an honest and open environment and ensure accurate feedback is given on any identified issues within the training operation
- Effectively communicate training requirements to all stakeholders
Qualifications
- You must have a proven track record in training and be able to demonstrate experience within your field
- Training qualification would be desirable (PTLLS/CiTP)
- Excellent team building and motivational skills with good organisational skills and the ability to manage your own time
- Written and verbal communication should be of a high level and you should be confident delivering information to stakeholder level. PC skills (Microsoft Office) are essential
- Very good written and verbal communication skills and well-developed presentation skills
- Confident and competent in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word/Excel/PowerPoint/Outlook) is essential
