Overview

We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to support our growing team based at our COOP site in Wellingborough on a permanent basis.

Our multi-temperature warehouse operates 24/7 excluding Christmas Day, so it’s essential that you are flexible and willing to work in all aspects of the warehouse including Chill.

The Role

  • Completing several manual handling tasks, with and without the use of MHE
  • Working in chill chamber as part of duties
  • Ensuring the picking, assembling, relocation and dispatching of stock is completed to the required standard
  • Completing tasks supported by an electronic warehouse management tool
  • Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods
  • Contributing towards our culture of trust, respect and togetherness
  • Adhering and investing in our award-winning health and safety standard

The Person

  • Friendly and helpful, keen to contribute and add value to the site
  • At least 3 months warehouse experience essential
  • Motivated and committed
  • Driven with high personal standards
  • Flexible – shifts require weekend work as the depot operates 24/7
  • Ability to meet targets within set timescales, ensuring we always meet the customer’s service requirements
  • The ability to understand and follow both verbal and written information
  • Naturally curious, willing to learn and develop

Employment details

  • Full time hours contracted to 37.5 hours per week
  • Part time available - 7.5 hrs shifts weekend work
  • Pay rates (paid every 4 weeks, including premiums):
    • Days - £13.04 ph
    • Backs - £14.27 ph
    • Nights - £15.50 ph
  • Shifts available: Morning (04:00-12:00 or 06:00-14:00, Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday or any 5 days out of 7 per rota with every other weekend off)
  • Afternoon (14:00-22:00, Sunday-Thursday, Tuesday-Saturday or any 5 days out of 7 per rota with every other weekend off)
  • Night (22:00-06:00, any 5 days out of 7 with every other weekend off)
