Overview
We are looking for Warehouse Operatives to support our growing team based at our COOP site in Wellingborough on a permanent basis.
Our multi-temperature warehouse operates 24/7 excluding Christmas Day, so it’s essential that you are flexible and willing to work in all aspects of the warehouse including Chill.
The Role
- Completing several manual handling tasks, with and without the use of MHE
- Working in chill chamber as part of duties
- Ensuring the picking, assembling, relocation and dispatching of stock is completed to the required standard
- Completing tasks supported by an electronic warehouse management tool
- Accountability for the timely and accurate distribution of stock and goods
- Contributing towards our culture of trust, respect and togetherness
- Adhering and investing in our award-winning health and safety standard
The Person
- Friendly and helpful, keen to contribute and add value to the site
- At least 3 months warehouse experience essential
- Motivated and committed
- Driven with high personal standards
- Flexible – shifts require weekend work as the depot operates 24/7
- Ability to meet targets within set timescales, ensuring we always meet the customer’s service requirements
- The ability to understand and follow both verbal and written information
- Naturally curious, willing to learn and develop
Employment details
- Full time hours contracted to 37.5 hours per week
- Part time available – 7.5 hrs shifts weekend work
- Pay rates (paid every 4 weeks, including premiums):
- Days – £13.04 ph
- Backs – £14.27 ph
- Nights – £15.50 ph
