We are looking for a Warehouse Operative to join our Chippenham site. Reporting to a Team Leader, the role is within a highly regarded company in the defence industry. The individual will be expected to demonstrate flexibility and capability to perform all aspects of warehousing to meet key performance indicators and exceed customer expectations.
Important: Successful candidates will be required to obtain and maintain Security Clearance.

Day to Day
- Carry out receiving, verification, put away, pick, pack, presentation and despatch in line with company procedures
- Adhere to material handling and storage instructions (e.g., shelf life, FIFO, hazardous materials)
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in all activities
- Complete necessary administration and paperwork accurately
- Scan materials into and out of locations to ensure inventory accuracy
- Handle materials to protect quality (packaging, protection, preservation, and special requirements)
- Work within safe systems of work in line with Wincanton Health & Safety legislation and guidelines
- Operate customer and Wincanton IT systems
- Contribute to continuous improvement activities
