Overview

Warehouse Colleague – Night shift (22:00 – 06:00) on a 7‑week rolling pattern for the IKEA contract at Wincanton Dartford.

Shift Pattern

  • 5 working days and 2 rest days per week
  • Rest days rotate each week to balance weekend and weekday shifts
  • Schedule applies to all night shifts in the 7‑week pattern

Salary

£30,934.62 per annum

Responsibilities

  • Physical Work: This is an active role where you\'ll be lifting and moving IKEA products, so being physically fit is important.
  • Operate MHE (Mechanical Handling Equipment): From MILOP (Medium Level Order Picker) machines to other warehouse tech, you’ll be trained and tested through a Theory and Practical Test to ensure you’re ready.
  • Stay Safe: Work in a team-focused environment, following Health & Safety guidelines to ensure everyone stays safe.
  • Be a Warehouse Pro: Picking, packing, and dispatching products with speed and accuracy to keep IKEA’s global reputation strong.
  • Keep it Clean: Help maintain the cleanliness and organization of our warehouse.

Qualifications

  • Preferred Reach Truck Skills.
  • Physical Readiness: This role involves lifting and moving products, and you’ll need to pass a Manual Handling Assessment to ensure you\'re up to the task.
  • Attention to Detail: Accurate picking and checking of stock is key.
  • Team Player: We’re looking for someone who thrives in a team, with a positive attitude and a flexible approach to work, including weekends and bank holidays.
  • Drug Test Clearance: A pre‑screening drug test is required to ensure the safety of our team and operations.
