Job Description
With continued success and business growth Wincanton have the opportunity for two Stock and System Administrators to join our team at Branston on a rotating shift pattern 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00.
Salary £24,094.72 per annum
How will you contribute?
- Monitor and investigate stock discrepancies between physical and systemic counts.
- Investigate and resolve misplaced stock pallets.
- Work cross-functionally to support and administrate the Pick function.
- Work cross-functionally to support and administrate the Goods-in function.
- Book and schedule inbound deliveries in line with pre-agreed site capacities.
- Support recall and reconciliation activity with offsite storage locations.
- Interrogate data from the WMS system to analyse and reduce stock loss.
- Report performance against the key contractual KPIs.
- Comply with and champion Health & Safety and Quality procedures.
- Always conduct yourself in a professional manner and provide excellent customer service.
What will you bring?
- Experience of working within a Stock Control environment beneficial but not essential.
- Experience of using a Warehouse Management System beneficial but not essential.
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic environment and to work to strict deadlines.
- Able to work on own initiative as well as within a team.
- Takes pride in work and has a keen eye for detail.
- PC Literate and able to perform data entry tasks in Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to complete a mixture of manual and administrative tasks.
- Trustworthy, reliable, accountable, flexible and always operates with integrity.
- Flexible to work rotating shifts Monday to Friday and optional overtime as required.
