Ensure that a best-in-class HSE performance is achieved within the sites and that a culture of safety and wellbeing is embedded in all we do. Accountable for the delivery of all contractual KPI’s and budget requirements across all sites. Leading and supporting the delivery of the people plan for sites driving an inclusive and engaging culture of putting colleagues first and developing our people and future leaders. Lead and develop and define strategic, operational, and commercial plan for the sites, supporting the implementation of the business strategy. Ensure that the leadership teams objectives are aligned with the customer and business strategic objectives. Develop and coach the team to deliver our strategic goals and targets, ensuring succession planning, development and engagement are at the core of everything we do for future growth. Lead growth through our customer partnership, whilst holding a laser focused vision on cost effective decision making for a fixed budget. Ensure that a high-performance culture is developed and maintained across the site(s), delivering efficiency and operational excellence; continuously meeting performance and productivity targets on a consistent basis. Challenge the status quo and debate strategic issues and CI opportunities to support improved business performance and growth.
What will you bring to our team?
- Senior logistics leader with experience in compliance focused operations and delivering results for large scale customers.
- Proven track record in delivering innovative performance improvements and operational excellence through team and engagement.
- Demonstrable exemplary customer and stakeholder relationship leadership skills with the flexibility in style and approach, with excellent interpersonal skills to influence and lead challenging conversations in the right way.
- Excellent commercial acumen – understanding the dynamics of ‘open book’ contracts with a budget framework that needs to be achieved.
- Agile approach to strategy and planning with a proven experience of adapting operational plans to changing customer requirements whilst also achieving a commercial benefit.
- Understands team dynamics and composition and applies knowledge to develop high performing teams.
